Installation instructions

Safety instructions
Only qualified technicians may assemble and connect electri-
cal devices!
Ensure that the power supply has been disconnected! Discon-
nect the mains plug!
Only use the supplied parts to connect the device!
Only use suitable and fully functional tools.
Installation
Installation in vehicles must accord with the technical and
administrative provisions of the individual country of use
(e.g. EN 1648). The national legislation and regulations must
be observed.
In other countries always observe the respectively valid
regulations.
Remove the equipment pack (accessories) and check it is
complete:
1 Instructions for installation and use
2 Mounting screws
2 Filling level sensors with connection cables
1 Serial RS 485 data transfer cable (4-wire)
Install the panel in a place that is protected from damp and wet.
Create the installation opening for the device (width 68 mm,
height 60 mm).
Connection
Before connecting or disconnecting the cables, the
supply lines from the MES Modules A and B need to
be disconnected from the battery and mains supply! See the
operating and installation instructions for the MES Module A
and B!
MES Module B
Remove the cover from the clamping area (MES Module B).
Connect the 4-wire plug of the data transfer cable RS 485 to
the MES Module B.
Connect the data transfer cable RS 485 to the 4-wire
connection of the panel.
There is a master switch integrated into the Panel. If a
master switch is connected to the Module B, this be-
comes obsolete when connected to the Panel and can be
removed.
Freshwater tank
Connect the connection cable from the freshwater tank to the
5-wire connection of the panel.
Waste water tank
Connect the connection cable from the waste water tank to
the 2-wire connection of the panel.
Final tasks
Check all plug connections are tight.
Attach the device with the supplied screws.
Reattach the cover of the clamping area.
Connect the MES Module A and B to the battery and mains
supply.
