When selecting a location, please ensure that the FrostControl
is not installed in the vicinity of external heat sources
(e.g. power supplies) or in the immediate proximity of warm
air pipes.
The FrostControl must be installed in front of the boiler in the
cold water supply.
To operate the water supply, all pressure and submergible
pumps can be used at a pressure of up to 2.8 bar.
For the boiler, the FrostControl
replaces the manually operated
safety/drain valve ABO.
For the Trumatic C heating sys-
tem, the FrostControl replaces
the electrically operated safety/
drain valve ELASI.
To allow safe drainage of
the content of the boiler
if there is a risk of frost, an
automatic aeration valve must
be fitted to the warm water
supply of the boiler. Standard
for all warm water devices
from Truma.
Drain directly to the outside at a position protected against
splash water (apply splash guard, if necessary).
