Description
The device serves as a filling level display for the waste water tank
(4, 2) and the freshwater tank (3, 2). It also shows the battery volt-
age (6, 7) of the supply voltage (battery II) and acts as a charging
display when in mains mode (5) and as a master switch (1).
The display functions only function when the master
switch is switched on.

Master switch
A relay in the MES Module B is activated when the master
switch is pressed (key – 1). This relay switches the 12 V con-
sumer ON (the key shines green). When the master switch is
pressed again, this relay switches the 12 V consumers OFF.
– If the voltage of the supply battery falls below 10.8 V, the
relay in the MES Module B is switched off automatically.
– If the voltage of the supply battery rises above 12.5 V again,
this relay automatically switches on.
– When the battery voltage is between 10.8 V and 12.5 V, this
relay can be activated for approx. 3 minutes by pressing the
master switch (Emergency-on mode).

Charging control display
The charging control display (5, green) shines, regardless of
the master switch, if the MES Module B is in mains charging
mode and the supply battery is being charged (see the MES
Module B description for more information about the charging
process).
Battery voltage display
When the key (7) is pressed, the voltage of the supply battery
is shown in the battery voltage display (6) via an LED chain.
Green range Adequate battery voltage
Yellow range Critical battery voltage
Red range Battery voltage too low
Filling level display for the freshwater tank
Pressing the key (2) activates the filling level display of the
freshwater tank (3) which shows the content of the tank in
quarter divisions via an LED chain.
Green range Tank half full to full (1/2 – 3/4 – 1/1)
Yellow range Tank almost empty (1/4)
Red range Tank empty (0)
Filling level display for the waste water tank
Pressing the key (2) activates the filling level display of the
waste water tank (4). This shines red if the waste water tank is
3/4 or more full.
Commissioning
The device is operational as soon as the connections have
been made and the master switch (1) has been pressed.
