is in the "AUTO" position but

pensing the product
is in the "CLEAN" position
MTS switch (mix) is in the "ON"
position.
When the operator is dispensing product,
the spigot switch closes the contacts 1-2
on the solid state timer. This in turn
energizes the coils on the contactors for
the beater motor, compressor, and cylin-
der solenoid.
When the operator closes the spigot to
shut off the flow of product, the spigot
switch opens which starts the time delay
period. The time delay contacts will
remain closed for a period of 12 seconds
after dispensing. The purpose of this
delay is to refrigerate the new mix that
entered the freezing cylinder when the
frozen product was dispensed. Control of
the refrigeration circuit is returned to the
thermostat at the end of the 12 second
period.
When the selector switch is in the
"CLEAN" position, the refrigeration circuit
is de-energized and only the beater motor
starter and beater motor are energized.
The mechanical timer bypasses the
thermostat, forcing the compressor and
beater motor to run up to 3 minutes. This
timer is used for quick start-ups or fast
recovery when dispensing large portions.
Important:
Excessive use of the mechanical timer
can causes freeze-up and damage to
the freezer.
When the mix switch is in the "ON" posi-
tion the mix motor relay coil is energized
through the mix pressure switch and
magnetic slide switch. The mix motor is
then energized through the mix motor
relay points. When the mix pressure
switch opens the mix motor relay coil is
de-energized and the mix motor stops.
