    1. SAFETY 1.1. General safety notes. 1.1.1. The operator of the machine is responsible for, and has a duty of care in making sure that the machine is operated safely and in accordance with the instructions in this user manual. Keep the manual safe and pass it on if the machine is loaned/sold to another user.

    1.2. Vibrations (where applicable). 1.2.1. Prolonged use of hand held (operated) machines will cause the user to feel the effects of/from vibrations. These vibrations can lead to white finger (Raynaud's phenomenon) or carpal tunnel syndrome. This condition reduces the ability of the hand to feel and regulate temperature, causing numbness and heat sensations and may cause nerve damage and circulatory tissue death.

Never operate without all guards in place. 2.2.2.1. Never operate this compressor without all guards or safety features in place and in proper working order.

    4. STORING, UNPACKING, SITING & OPERATION 4.1. Storing the packed and unpacked compressor. 4.1.1. If the compressor is not used and left unpacked it will need to be stored in a dry place at a temperature between +5°C and + 45°C and sheltered from the weather.
  • Page 11 4.2.4. Check oil level referring to the MAX & MIN marks on the dipstick, or the oil level inspection window (2). 4.2.5. Position the compressor on a flat surface or with a maximum permissible inclination of 10° and in a dry and well aired place. DO NOT store in a location which has an explosion hazard.
  • Page 12 4.3.1.3. The compressor is fully automatic and is controlled by the pressure switch which stops it when tank pressure reaches maximum value and restarts it when it falls to minimum value. The pressure difference between maximum and minimum values is usually about 2 bar (29 psi). 4.3.1.4.

  • Page 14 5.3.2. You MUST take care if there is compressed air inside the cylinder since the condensate water could flow out with considerable force. Recommended pressure: 1 – 2 bar max. 5.3.3. Condensate from compressors that are oil lubricated must not be drained into the sewer or dispersed in the environment as it contains oil.
