o To rem ove any residue from t he oven t hat m ay have been left
from t he m anufact uring process, you should select t he fan oven
funct ion and set t he t herm ost at t o it s m axim um t em perat ure
set t ing.
o I t is perfect ly norm al for a sm ell t o be produced during t his
process.
o You should m ake sure t hat any windows in t he room are left
open during t his process.
o I t is advisable for you not t o rem ain in t he room whilst t he
burning off process is t aking place.
o You should leave t he oven on m axim um set t ing for 30 – 40
m inut es.
o Aft er t he oven cavit y has cooled, it should t hen be cleaned wit h
warm soapy wat er, using eit her a sponge or soft clot h. No
abrasive cleaners should be used.
o Out er part s of t he oven should be cleaned wit h warm soapy
