o This appliance should be wired int o a 13A ( 16A for P639- BS/ SS)
double pole swit ched fused spur out let , having 3 m m cont act
separat ion and placed in an easily accessible posit ion adj acent t o
t he appliance. The spur out let m ust st ill be accessible even when
your oven is locat ed in it s housing.
o To connect t he oven power cord, loosen and rem ove t he cover
on t he t erm inal block, in order t o gain access t o t he cont act s
inside. Make t he connect ion, securing t he cord in place wit h t he
cable clam p provided and t hen im m ediat ely close t he t erm inal
block cover again.
o I f you have t o change t he oven power cord, t he eart hing
( yellow/ green) conduct or m ust always be 10 m m longer t han t he
line conduct ors.
o Care m ust be t aken t o ensure t hat t he t em perat ure of t he m ains
supply cable does not exceed 50° C.
o I f t he m ains supply cable is dam aged, t hen it m ust be replaced
by an appropriat e replacem ent which can be obt ained from t he
Baum at ic Spares Depart m ent .
