o Please refer t o t he inform at ion given on food packaging for
guidance on cooking t em perat ures and t im es. Once fam iliar wit h
t he perform ance of your appliance, t em perat ures and t im es can
be varied t o suit personal preference.
o I f you are using t he fan oven funct ion, t hen you should follow
t he inform at ion given on t he food packaging for t his part icular
m ode of cooking.
o You should pre- heat t he oven and not place food inside of it unt il
t he oven operat ing light has gone off. You can choose not t o pre-
heat when using t he fan oven m ode; however you should ext end
t he cooking t im e given on t he food packaging by at least t en
m inut es.
o I M PORTAN T: You should pre- heat t he oven if you are baking no
m at t er what oven funct ion you are using.
o I f t here is no guidance given on t he food packaging specifically
for cooking in fan oven m ode, you can generally reduce t he
cooking t im e and t em perat ure by 10% from t he inform at ion
given for convent ional oven cooking.
o Make sure t hat frozen foods are t horoughly t hawed before
cooking, unless t he inst ruct ions on t he food packaging advise
t hat you can " cook from frozen" .
o Before cooking, check t hat any accessories t hat are not required
are rem oved from t he oven.
o Place cooking t rays in t he cent re of t he oven and leave gaps
bet ween t he t rays t o allow air t o circulat e.
o Try t o open t he door as lit t le as possible t o view t he dishes.
o The oven light will rem ain on during cooking.

o Keep t he oven door closed when using a n y of t he cooking
funct ions, in clu din g t he grill funct ions.
o Do not use alum inium foil t o cover t he enam elled baking t ray or
heat it em s wrapped in alum inium foil under t he grill. The high
reflect ivit y of t he foil could pot ent ially dam age t he grill elem ent .
