o The oven should be t horoughly cleaned before it is operat ed for t he
first t im e and aft er each use. This will avoid residual food st uffs
becom ing baked on t he oven cavit y. Aft er residues have been
baked on several t im es, t hey are far m ore difficult t o rem ove.
o N e ve r clean t he oven surfaces by st eam cleaning.
o The oven cavit y should only be cleaned wit h warm soapy wat er,
using eit her a sponge or soft clot h. No abrasive cleaners should be
used.
o Any st ains t hat m ay appear on t he bot t om of t he oven will have
originat ed from food splashes or spilt food, t hese splashes occur
during t he cooking process. These could possibly be a result of t he
food being cooked at an excessively high t em perat ure or being
placed in cookware t hat is t oo sm all.
o You should select a cooking t em perat ure t hat is appropriat e for t he
food t hat you are cooking. You should also ensure t hat t he food is
placed in an adequat ely sized dish and t hat you use t he enam elled
baking t ray where appropriat e.
o Out er part s of t he oven should only be cleaned wit h warm soapy

should be used.
o We would recom m end t hat an appropriat e st ainless st eel cleaner
and polish is regularly used on t he st ainless st eel surfaces of t his
appliance.
o I f you use any form of oven cleaner on your appliance, t hen you
m ust check wit h t he m anufact urer of t he cleaner t hat it is suit able
for use on your appliance.
o Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners or sharp m et al scrapers t o
clean t he oven door glass since t hey can scrat ch t he surface which
m ay result in shat t ering.
