Vengono qui riportate le indicazioni essenziali per una cor-
retta installazione delle apparecchiature.
Si consiglia l'installazione delle sezioni su supporti antivi-
branti per impedire la trasmissione di vibrazioni ed attenua-
re la rumorosità indotta da quest'ultime.
Per il montaggio degli accessori si rimanda alle istruzioni
allegate a ciascuno di essi.
COLLEGAMENTI FRIGORIFERI
Per il collegamento delle unità delle grandezze 3 e 5 utiliz-
zare le linee frigorifere precaricate « LF » disponibili come
accessorio.
Per le altre grandezze i collegamenti sono del tipo a saldare.
Per la linea del gas si consiglia di dare una pendenza verso
il compressore di almeno l'1% (fig. 1, tratto A - B).
GRANDEZZE 3 E 5:
– stendere le linee in modo che i giunti siano in corrispon-
denza dei rispettivi raccordi sulle unità interna ed esterna;
– togliere i coperchi di protezione e pulire le superfici dei
giunti;
– lubrificare i giunti con olio incongelabile;
– avvitare a mano per alcuni giri in modo da assicurarsi che
i filetti siano in asse;
– stringere con due chiavi fisse fino a fine corsa (fig. 3).
GRANDEZZE 7, 10 E 15:
– le linee frigorifere possono essere portate su entrambi i
lati delle unità sia interna che esterna, staccando i pre-
tranciati sulla carpenteria;
– stendere le linee frigorifere tra le due unità evitando asso-
lutamente lo schiacciamento dei tubi e l'ingresso di spor-
cizia; i diametri delle tubazioni sono riportati in tab. H;
– il vuoto e la carica dovranno essere eseguiti da un tecnico
esperto rispettando le indicazioni di tab. H.
Si ricorda che qualsiasi malfunzionamento o danneggia-
mento dovuto alla non perfetta esecuzione delle linee, del
vuoto e della carica frigorifera non è coperto in alcun modo
dalla garanzia sull'apparecchiatura.
COLLEGAMENTI ALLE CANALIZZAZIONI
L'installazione dell'unità interna deve obbligatoriamente
essere effettuata con canale o con plenum sulla mandata
dell'aria.
Per entrambe le unità interna ed esterna i collegamenti
dovranno essere realizzati utilizzando giunti elastici per evi-
tare la trasmissione di vibrazioni e consentire le operazioni
di manutenzione.
In particolare per l'unità interna la distanza dal soffitto e la
lunghezza del giunto elastico dovranno consentire lo smon-
taggio del pannello superiore.
FISSAGGIO A PARETE DEL PANNELLO COMANDI
La sonda aria è posta all'interno del pannello comandi.
Il pannello andrà quindi posizionato in modo da non essere
direttamente investito dalla radiazione solare o da correnti
d'aria calda o fredda, altrimenti non si può avere una cor-
retta regolazione della temperatura ambiente.
È possibile installare la sonda aria sulla ripresa dell'unità
interna anziché nel pannello comandi montando l'accesso-
rio « SDS ».
Per l'installazione riferirsi all'istruzione allegata all'accessorio.
Il pannello comandi remoto può essere fissato a parete pro-
cedendo nel seguente modo:
– svitare la vite inferiore del pannello e togliere il cursore
del termostato (fig. 2);
– togliere il coperchio con l'aiuto di un cacciavite;
– estrarre la scheda elettronica (fig. 4);
– fissare a parete l'involucro facendo passare il cavo di col-
legamento attraverso uno dei fori (fig. 5);
– eseguire i collegamenti alla morsettiera come da schema
elettrico e reinserire la scheda nell'involucro;
– rimontare il coperchio e la vite di bloccaggio.

The essential indications to carry out a proper installation
are given here below.
It is advisable to install antivibration supports on the sections
which prevent vibration transmission and dampen the noise
they produce.
For installation of accessories please refer to the instructions
contained in their packing.
REFRIGERANT CONNECTIONS
Refrigerant connections for models 3 and 5 are to be made
using the precharged refrigerant lines « LF » (available as
accesories).
For all other models, welded connections are to be used.
For the gas lines, we recommend a fall of at least 1.1%
towards to the compressor (fig. 1, line A-B).
MODELS 3 AND 5:
– lay the lines so that the joints are in correspondence with
their respective fittings on the indoor and outdoor units;
– remove the protective end caps and clean the surfaces of
the joints;
– lubricate the joints with nonfreezing oil;
– hand-tighten the fittings initially to ensure tnat the threads
mate correctly;
– using two spanners, fully tighten the fittings (fig. 3)
MODELS 7, 10 AND 15:
– refrigerant lines can be connected to either side of the
outdoor and indoor units as required by removing the
relative knockouts on the enclosure;
– lay the lines between the two units, taking care not to
kink them and making sure that no dirt enters them. The
diameters of the lines are given in table H;
– the creation of the internal vacuum and subsequent char-
ging operation must be carried out by a qualified techni-
cian in accordance with the indications given in table H.
Note that any malfunctions or damage to the system due to
incorrect execution of the lines, the vacuum and charging
are not covered by the warranty.
DUCTING CONNECTIONS
The indoor unit must absolutely be installed with ducting or
a plenum on the air discharge.
On both the indoor and outdoor units connections must be
made using flexible couplings to prevent transmission of
vibration and to facilitate maintenance.
For the indoor unit in particular, the distance from the cei-
ling and the length of the flexible coupling must be such as
to allow removal of the top panel of the unit.
WALL INSTALLATION OF THE CONTROL PANEL
The air sensor is located inside the control panel.
The panel must therefore be positioned so that it is not in
direct sunlight, and out of hot or cold draughts, in order to
achieve correct ambient temperature control.
It is possible to install the sensor on the air return grille,
instead of the control panel, by fitting the « SDS » accesory.
For installation, see the instructions supplied with the acces-
sory.
The remote control panel can be fixed to a wall in the fol-
lowing manner:
– unscrew the lower screw of the panel and remove the
thermostat cursor (fig. 2);
– remove the cover by means of a screwdriver;
– remove the electronic card (fig. 4);
– fix the casing to the wall and lead the connecting cable
through one of the holes (fig. 5);
– connect the terminal board as shown in the wiring dia-
gram and insert the card into the casing;
– replace the cover and the screws.
