Configure Audio Warning
Purpose
The audio warning enables the video recorder to trigger an audible beep when an alarm is
detected.
Step 1 Go to Configuration > System > Live View > General.
Step 2 Enable Audio Output and set Volume.
Step 3 Go to Linkage Action interface of the alarm detection.
Step 4 Select Audio Warning alarm linkage action.
Notify Surveillance Center
Purpose
The video recorder can send an exception or alarm signal to the remote alarm host when an event
occurs. The alarm host refers to the computer installed with client software (e.g., iVMS-4200,
iVMS-5200).
Step 1 Log into video recorder in web browser. For detailed steps, refer to 9.2 Login.
Step 2 Go to Configuration > Network > Advanced Settings> Other.
Step 3 Set Alarm Host IP and Alarm Host Port.
Step 4 In local menu, go to Linkage Action interface of the alarm detection.
Step 5 Select Notify Surveillance Center.
Configure Email Linkage
Purpose
The video recorder can send an email with alarm information to a user or users when an alarm is
detected.
Step 1 Switch to easy mode.
Step 2 Go to Configuration > System > Network > Email.
Step 3 Configure the Email settings. For detailed steps, refer to 5.2.3 Email.
Step 4 Go to Linkage Action interface of the alarm detection.
Step 5 Select Send Email alarm linkage action.
Trigger Alarm Output
Purpose
The alarm output can be triggered by the normal and smart events.
