Step 2 Select Camera to configure.
Step 3 Optionally, check Save VCA Picture to save the captured pictures of VCA detection.
Step 4 Check Enable Face Detection.
Step 5 Adjust Sensitivity. Sensitivity: Range [1-5]. The higher the value is, the more easily the face
can be detected.
Step 6 Set the arming schedule. Refer to 6.4.3 Configure Arming Schedule.
Step 7 Set the linkage actions. Refer to 6.4.4 Configure Alarm Linkage Action.
Step 8 Click Apply.
Intrusion Detection
Purpose
Intrusion detection function detects people, vehicles, or objects that enter and loiter in a
pre-defined virtual region.
Step 1 Go to Configuration > Event > Smart Event > Intrusion.
Step 2 Select Camera to configure.
Step 3 Check Enable Intrusion Detection.
Step 4 Optionally, check Save VCA Picture to save the captured pictures of VCA detection.
Step 5 Set the detection rules and detection areas.
1) Select Virtual Plane. Up to 4 arming areas are selectable.
2) Set Sensitivity and Threshold.
 Threshold: Range [1s-10s], the threshold for the time of the object loitering in the region.
When the duration of the object in the defined detection area is longer than the set time, the
alarm will be triggered.
 Sensitivity: The size of the object that can trigger the alarm. The higher the value is, the more
easily the detection alarm will be triggered. Its range is [1-100].
3) Click Draw Area and draw a quadrilateral in the preview window by specifying four vertices of
the detection region.
Step 6 Set the arming schedule. Refer to 6.4.3 Configure Arming Schedule.
Step 7 Set the linkage actions. Refer to 6.4.4 Configure Alarm Linkage Action.
Step 8 Click Apply.
