3) Adjust Sensitivity. Sensitivity: Range [0-100]. The higher the value is, the more easily the
detection alarm can be triggered.
Step 6 Set the arming schedule. Refer to 6.4.3 Configure Arming Schedule.
Step 7 Set the linkage actions. Refer to 6.4.4 Configure Alarm Linkage Action.
Step 8 Click Apply.
Region Exiting Detection
Purpose
Region exiting detection function detects people, vehicle or other objects which exit from a
pre-defined virtual region, and some certain actions can be taken when the alarm is triggered.
Step 1 Go to Configuration > Event > Smart Event > Region Exiting.
Step 2 Select Camera to configure.
Step 3 Check Enable Region Exiting Detection.
Step 4 Optionally, check Save VCA Picture to save the captured pictures of VCA detection.
Step 5 Set the detection rules and detection areas.
1) Select Arming Area. Up to 4 arming areas are selectable.
2) Click Draw Area and draw a quadrilateral in the preview window by specifying four vertexes of
the detection region.

Loitering Detection
Purpose
Loitering detection function detects people, vehicle or other objects which loiter in a pre-defined
virtual region for some certain time, and a series of actions can be taken when the alarm is
triggered.
Step 1 Go to Configuration > Event > Smart Event > Loitering.
Step 2 Select Camera to configure.
Step 3 Check Enable Loitering Detection.
Step 4 Optionally, check Save VCA Picture to save the captured pictures of VCA detection.
