5.3.8. LOCK / UNLOCK THE FRONT WHEELS DIRECTION
To lock the rotation of the front wheels, turn the 2 pins in front
of each wheel to the horizontal.
In this position, the front wheels stay straight and the mower
moves only in a straight line. A deliberate change of direction
to the right or to the left nevertheless releases the wheels,
which are then free to turn.
When the front wheels are back in a straight aligned position,
they lock again in the straight ahead direction.
To lock the rotation of the front wheels, turn the 2 pins in front
of each wheel to the vertical.
In this position, the front wheels are free and the mower can
be turned in any direction without constraints.
5.3.9. PARKING BRAKE/TRANSPORT
When the power is stopped, and the blades are not turning, put the cutting height adjustment handle (15) into "parking
brake/transport" mode, to secure the mower on a slope or embankment. In this position the cutter housing comes into
contact with the rear wheels and acts as a brake. The mower can therefore neither move forwards nor reverse and
cannot be pushed.
Hold the cutting height adjustment handle (15) whilst simul-
taneously pressing on the two buttons to release its position
and push the handle further than the 25mm position.
