6.2.2. CUTTER HOUSING
Clean the inside and the outside of the housing after each
mowing session:
• Tip the lawn mower upright.
• Use a wooden or plastic tool to scrape grass from inside
the housing, taking care not to scratch the housing.
• Clean the rest of the mowing residue using a low pressure
water jet.
Caution
Always wear gloves to protect your hands and wrists when working near the cutting blades on the
lawn mower! Danger of accidental cuts.
Warning
Never use soap or solvents, (such as trichloroethylene, white spirit or petrol, etc.) to clean the mower.
6.2.3. WHEELS
The lawn mower's wheels are particularly susceptible to clogging. Grass stalks, dust and mowing residues stick to the
outer tires of the wheels and reduce the adhesion of the machine.
Clean the wheels after each mowing session.
Use a water jet to remove accumulated matter from the
wheels.
6.2.4. COLLECTING BIN
The collecting bin should always be cleaned thoroughly with a water jet after use and left to dry upside down in the sun
to kill any mushroom spores and fungal diseases.
