16.1

Driving in electric wheelchair

16.1.1

Climbing ability

When driving over obstacles higher than approx. 60-70mm, the power wheelchair can become lodged on
the battery box and become stuck or possibly tip over.
16.1.2

Load capacity

Do not drive over surfaces where there is a risk of getting stuck or tipping over. Note the total weight of
the vehicle.

Rough terrain or terrain

When driving on rough ground or off-road driving, there is a risk that you will get stuck or overturn along
with your electric wheelchair.
16.1.4

Smooth surfaces, traction

When driving over smooth surfaces (eg. slippery ramps, wet grass, snow, ice, etc.) your electric wheelchair
may lose its traction. When this occurs, the driving force or the braking power is not transmitted to the
wheels and power is lost.

Control panel R-NET CJSM-L

16.2.1

Overview of the control elements

With the control panel (joystick) built into your power wheelchair, you
can control all of the power wheelchair's driving, steering and braking
processes. All additional functions which are equipped with displace-
ment motors, such as the lifting arm and the sitting functions, must also
be operated via the control panel.

Display showing the signal currently active (light, indicator) ③

MODE key ⑤ for switching function – drive program/seat function
PROFILE key ⑥ (selection of movement levels)
