12. Removing and reattaching the chassis cladding
12.1 Removing and reattaching the rear cladding
The chassis cladding can be removed for maintenance, repair or clean-
ing.
Take the following steps in the following sequence when removing and
reassembling the rear cladding:
› Loosen and remove knurled screws .

› Remove the rear cladding carefully.
› Disconnect the cable for the rear light  at the connection.

› Reassemble in the opposite sequence.

Put aside the knurled screws and plastic washers.

12.2 Removing and reattaching the side cladding
The chassis cladding can be removed for maintenance, repair or clean-
ing.
Take the following steps in the following sequence when removing and
reattaching the side cladding:
› Loosen and remove knurled screws .
› Remove rear cladding.

ding"
› Raise the side cladding at rear.
› Disconnect the cable for the front headlight and directional indica-
tor  at the connection.
› Remove side cladding from the front.
› Reassemble in the opposite sequence.

Make sure the plastic washers are present, as they protect the
chassis components from damage.
