Installation
It is strongly recommended to wear gloves to complete the installation.
1.
To use the air intake on the right side, remove the knockout by cutting the micro-joints. Cut and
remove the insulation and the other knockout inside the fireplace (1). To use the opening under
the fireplace, only cut the knockout.
2.
Install the adapter included in the fireplace (2) and align the notch of the adapter (T) with the one
on the fireplace. Turn the adapter clockwise.

Lower the bottom louver of the faceplate. Install the plate (F) supplied with the fireplace onto the
front opening of the air control box. Using a screwdriver, secure with 4 screws (G) found in the
user manual. Installing the plate will make the air intake housing airtight and prevent cold air
from entering the fireplace when not in use.
