The drain-trap must be easily inspectable or removable for cleaning and it must be never connected to the drain hermetically in order to
allow the air vent.
For obvious reasons, a pressurized drain-trap must be never coupled to a vacuum drain-trap and the diameter of the relevant connection
pipe must be never lower than its drain coupling.
Couple the drain pipeline with a sufficient slope toward the drain manifold of white or rain waters (always avoid to connect to sewage
manifold of black waters) with interposition of another drain-trap.

Connections to humidification systems

With evaporating unit or atomizing nozzles and disposable water

These humidifiers require only to be connected to the water feeding pipeline and to the drain.
The installer shall arrange the system so as the feeding is carried out with adjustable pressure by means of a
special reducing valve and can be cut off by a special manual tap.
As a rule, the adjustment is carried out by means of a solenoid valve controlled by an ambient or duct humidistat.
These control devices can be supplied separately by us, on request.
The evaporating unit is mounted inside the UTA with a preset positioning, in order to meet the direction of air and
water in counter-current. In case it is taken out or replaced, meet this positioning in order not to impair its efficiency.
The atomizing ramp is provided with self-cleaning nozzles made of plastic material and positioned in counter-
current against the air crossing.
With evaporating unit and with water recirculation
el./pump kit (up to 250-175)
The control of this humidification system is usually carried out by means of an
ambient or duct humidistat supplied separately on request and operating on the
water el./pump intended for the sprinkling of the evaporating unit.
For the assembly, what follows is required:
- put the
el./pump kit (A)
close to the UTA so that, if positioned on the same plane,
the UTA foundation must not be lower than 120 mm, that is equal to the height of
the water level inside the tank.
- connect the water feeding pipe from the el./pump kit to the special coupling (B) of the UTA
- connect the drain pipe (C) of the UTA to the tank of the el./pump kit.
- connect the water feeding pipeline, with cut-off tap (for maintenance), to coupling (G) of the tank of the el./pump kit ; the internal level of
the water is controlled by the internal float valve.
- connect also the overflow coupling (F) to the drain pipeline.
