• Open your BACnet Software Solution and verify the Macurco DVP-120C BACnet Panel is communicating
with the software.

5.3.2 BACnet MS/TP to BACnet/IP

Using a standard serial to Ethernet media converter will not work with BACnet MS/TP due to the strict timing
requirements of the protocol. A BACnet Router must be used to perform the conversion from BACnet MS/TP to
BACnet/IP.

6 Troubleshooting

The DVP-120/DVP-120C is tested at the factory for reliable operation. Most problems can be traced to the set-up of
configurable features and modes, system wiring or trouble with the sensors.
Failure to follow instructions outlined in this user manual can result in sickness or death.
