TROUBLESHOOTING ADVICE

PROBLEM
remote control inefficient
output air not hot
the flame does not appear
(remember that it should appear 5
minutes after pressing the on/off
button)
does not ignite
'Error rtc-rd' appears on
the display
The ignition/shutdown phase does
not start at the time set
N.B.:
The combustion chambers and smoke ducts connected to the solid fuel appliances must be clea-
ned once a year (check if your country has specific legislation covering this).
Failure to check and clean regularly increases the probability of a fire in the combustion cham-
ber.
In that case, proceed as follows:
do not shutdown with water;
empty the pellet tank;
contact specialised staff before restarting the machine.
CAUSE
- too far from insert
- batteries flat
too much soot in exchanger
the cochlea has not been filled
accumulation of unburned residues in
the combustion chamber
backup battery is drained, inside
the control board
Incorrect setting:
current time
programme enabling
enabling the programme on the day

SOLUTIONS
- go closer to insert
- replace with alkaline batteries (3
mini AAA type)
clean the hearth exchanger
Fill the cochlea (see paragraph on
ignition)
clean combustion chamber
replace the backup battery
Check according to instructions given
on the board
