CONNECTING:

Take connecting the inverter of VDI100 for example:
Connecting with PC
Notes:
1. EXP-TCPIP-BDI/VDI module port can connect directly with PC, which is applied to short-distance monitor.
2. EXP-TCPIP-BDI/VDI module port can connect with network that will be in the same subnet as PC, shown as
figure 1 so that it can perform remote control.
3. Maximum cable lenght between EXP-TCPIP-BDI-VDI and drive = 5m

INSTALLING SOFTWARE:

1. Installing document of XPortInstallerSetup.msi.
2. Installing document of red32bit_3.1.0.1.exe.
Notes: These sw does not work with Windows 7 and later (Contact Gefran Sales Office).
After installing the above files, it requires to restart computer.

CONFIGURATIONS:

If you have correct connection following figure 1 and provide 24V power supply to EXP-TCPIP-BDI/VDI
module, you can see the orange LED light on the cover of EXP-TCPIP-BDI/VDI. It displays that it has the
power and you can find the lights on both sides of the port. Then, take the steps as the followings:

Connecting Power Supply
EXP-PDP-VDI module operates with a 24VDC / 80mA supply voltage (range
21.8V~26.2V).
①: 1A quick-blowing fuse, circuit-breaker or circuit protector
User can use an external 24VDC / 80mA power.
②: Surge absorber
