4. Make sure that the cables are in their correct
position.
5. Install the starter unit. Refer to
starter unit on page 15 .
6. Install the spark plug and the spark plug cap.

6.12 Carburetor

6.12.1 To disassemble the carburetor
1. Remove the air filter cover.
2. Remove the throttle cable from the lever arm on the
carburetor and from the guide in the air filter holder.
3. Remove the tank venting (A) from its bracket, the 3
carburetor screws (B) and the air filter holder (C).

4. Remove the fuel hoses and lift the carburetor.

5. Remove the 4 screws (A).

6. Remove the cover (B) and the pump (C).
7. Remove the check valve (D) with a small
screwdriver.
8. Remove the diaphragm cover (E).
9. Carefully remove the control diaphragm (F) and the
gasket (G).
10. Carefully lift the check valve.
6.12.2 To clean and examine the carburetor
If 1 or more parts of the carburetor are worn or
damaged, replace the carburetor.
Clean all parts.
