5.4 Installation on a DIN rail
Removing
1. Remove all cables connected to the X-300
2. Release the screws on the bottom of the housing.
3. Remove the X-300 from the S7-300 standard rail.

Installation on a DIN rail
No DIN rail mounting in shipbuilding and when subject to severe vibration.
The 35 mm DIN rail (DIN EN 60715) does not provide adequate support in shipping or when
there is severe vibration (> 10 g). Under such conditions, the device can come out of the
mounting and may cause injury.
In such situations, install the device on an S7-300 standard rail.
