1. Caution!

Please read these Operating Instructions and the attached
Safety Information carefully prior to initial operation. Failure
to observe the safety regulations results in a risk to life and
limb.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage resulting
from misuse of the machine or unauthorised alterations.
Safety Informations
Always place the soldering iron in the original holder.
Remove all inflammable objects from the proximity of
the hot soldering tool.
Use suitable protective clothing. Risk of burns from
liquid solder.
Never leave the hot soldering iron unsupervised.
Never work on voltage-carrying parts.

2. Description

Very manageable desoldering tweezers for precision SMD
electronic devices. The soldering tip pair can be changed as
required without the use of tools and can be used without
additional alignment of the soldering tips. The integrated 2 X
40 W heating elements ensure that the soldering tip tempe-
rature is reached very quickly and controlled precisely.
Sensors built in to the handle ensure that the desoldering
tweezers are switched off automatically when placed down.
3. Installation
Place the desoldering tweezers in the safety rest and ensure
that the ( 5 ) is correctly seated in the magnetic stand ( 1 ).
Move all combustible objects away from the area of the sol-
dering tool. Insert the connector plug ( 6 ) in the power sup-
ply unit and lock it. Set the desired temperature at the
power supply unit. When the required heating-up period has
elapsed, coat both soldering tips with some solder.

4. Grounding
If required, an grounding of the soldering bit can be created
via the supply unit. The connection possibilities for groun-
ding are described in the instructions for the supply unit.
5. Information for Operation
Changing the soldering tip
Caution, risk of burns! Soldering tips must only be changed
when they have cooled down. The soldering tip change does
not require tools. The soldering tip is inserted in the rear
hand piece ( 5 ) and can be disconnected by simply pulling
at the soft grip of the moulded grips ( 3 ).
Important:
Always ensure that the soldering tip is properly seated.
When fitting the new soldering tip, ensure that the soldering
tip is inserted completely up to the stop in a single operation.
Operation with a soldering tip that is not completely inserted
can lead to malfunctions.
During the first heating-up period, coat the selected tinnable
soldering tip with solder. This removes oxide layers and con-
tamination on the soldering tip caused by storage. During sol-
dering pauses and before setting down the soldering iron,
always ensure that the soldering tip is well tinned. Never use
an aggressive flux.
Always keep the cleaning sponge ( 2 ) damp. Use only distil-
led water.
