Safety Informations
Always place the soldering iron in the original holder.
Remove all inflammable objects from the proximity of
the hot soldering tool.
Use suitable protective clothing. Risk of burns from
liquid solder.
Never leave the hot soldering iron unsupervised.
Never work on voltage-carrying parts.

2. Description

Extremely powerful 40 W fine soldering iron with integrated
heating system in the soldering tip. Thanks to a plug-in
system, the soldering tip can be changed without tools. The
soldering tip temperature is reached rapidly and adjusted
exactly. Thanks to a sensor system installed in the handle, the
soldering iron is cut out automatically when it is set down.
3. Installation
Place the soldering iron in the safety rest and ensure that
the soldering iron grip is correctly seated in the magnetic
stand ( 1 ). Move all combustible objects away from the
area of the soldering tool. Insert the connector plug ( 6 ) in
the power supply unit and lock it. Set the desired tempera-
ture at the power supply unit. When the required heating-up
period has elapsed, coat both soldering tips with some sol-
der.

5. Information for Operation
Changing the soldering tip
Caution, risk of burns! Soldering tips must only be changed
when they have cooled down. The soldering tip change does
not require tools. The soldering tip is inserted in the rear
grip area by simply pulling at the soft grip of the soldering
tip.
Important:
Always ensure that the soldering tip is properly seated.
When fitting the new soldering tip, ensure that the soldering
tip is inserted completely up to the stop in a single operation.
Operation with a soldering tip that is not completely inserted
can lead to malfunctions.
During the first heating-up period, coat the selected tinnable
soldering tip with solder. This removes oxide layers and con-
tamination on the soldering tip caused by storage. During sol-
dering pauses and before setting down the soldering iron,
always ensure that the soldering tip is well tinned. Never use
an aggressive flux.
Always keep the cleaning sponge ( 9 ) damp. Use only distil-
led water.
