13.2.1 Manual Test Calls

These settings will place manual test calls. If the phase selector outputs are connected to the controller's
preemption/TSP inputs, a live call will be placed to the controller. It is recommended that the controller's
preemption and TSP routines be programmed prior to placing manual test calls.
•
hA, hb, hC and hd, Places a high priority call on the corresponding channel.
o e.g. hC places a high priority call on channel C,
•
Press the SELECT button until the desired channel and priority is displayed,
•
Press the TEST button.
o The display will flash and the corresponding HIGH LED will illuminate solid.
o The call will continue for five seconds.

o If the LED does not illuminate, that indicates that channel/priority is inactive.

LA, Lb, LC and Ld places a low priority call on the corresponding channel.
o e.g. LB places a low priority call on channel B.
•
Press the SELECT button until the desired channel and priority is displayed.
•
Press the TEST button.
o The display will flash and the corresponding LOW LED will illuminate solid.
o The call will continue for five seconds.

o If the LED does not illuminate, that indicates that channel/priority is inactive.

Turn Signal Sub Menu

By default this menu will not be displayed. If you are using turn signal dependant operation where different
outputs are to be activated based on the approaching vehicle's turn signal status, turn on this sub menu
using the On-site or CMS software. This sub menu allows the user to manually drive the specific output that
have been programmed using the On-site or CMS software.
Note:
Turn signal dependant mode does not apply to Infrared operation.
Using the turn signal sub menu
St = Activates the output programmed for a straight turn signal status
Lt = Activates the output programmed for a left turn signal status
rt= Activates the output programmed for a right turn signal status
•
Press the SELECT button until the desired channel/priority is displayed e.g. hC
•
Pressing the TEST button will display the sub menu.
•
Press SELECT until the desired turn signal state is shown.
•
Press the TEST button to place the call.
o The call will continue for five seconds.


call by an additional five seconds.
