Warning and Safety instructions
The appliance may only be operated when the following condi-
tions are met:
– The ship's hull is longer than 28 metres.
– The list of the vessel is not more than 2°.
– Any external vibration is no more than 150 Hz at an amplitude of
0.35 mm.
The safe operation and correct functioning of the appliance can only
be guaranteed if the above conditions are met.
The appliance may not be operated on an open deck.
Appliances that do not carry the "ETL C/US" safety mark comply
with European safety regulations.
These appliances must not be operated in the USA.
This appliance must only be installed by a qualified person who
has made sure that the conditions for its safe use are met.
When installing this appliance, it must be securely fixed to the
floor.
Failure to do this could result in personal injury, damage to the appli-
ance and damage to other objects and installations.
The electrical safety of this tumble dryer can only be guaranteed
when correctly earthed. It is essential that this standard safety re-
quirement is met. If in any doubt, please have the on-site wiring sys-
tem inspected by a qualified electrician. Miele cannot be held liable
for the consequences of an inadequate earthing system (e.g. electric
shock).
Unauthorised repairs could result in unforeseen dangers for the
user, for which Miele cannot accept liability. Repairs should only be
undertaken by a Miele approved service technician, otherwise any
subsequent damage will not be covered by the warranty. Ensure cur-
rent is not supplied to the tumble dryer until after maintenance or re-
pair work has been carried out.
