    Personal safety Before you start using the equipment, you should consult your physician that this type of exercise is suitable for you from a health perspective. Particularly affected are persons who: have a hereditary disposition to high blood pressure or heart disease, are over the age of 45, smoke, have high cholesterol values, are overweight and/or have not exercised regularly in the past year.

    Electrical safety The equipment requires a 220 - 230V / 50 Hertz mains power supply. The equipment should be connected directly to a grounded plug socket only by means of the power cable supplied. The use of multi-socket adapters or similar is not recommended. Extension leads must comply with local electrical safety guidelines.

    ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS, MAINTENANCE AND CARE General instructions Please check if all parts and tools belonging to the equipment are included in the delivery and if there is any transport damage. If there are any complaints, please contact your contract partner directly.

    Errors and error diagnosis The equipment runs through regular quality controls during production. Nevertheless, errors or malfunctions on the equipment may occur. Individual parts are often the cause of faults and replacement is usually sufficient. Please use the following overview to see the most common errors and how to repair them.

    Maintenance and service calendar The cockpit, casing, handrails and entire frame must be cleaned after every training session with a moist towel (no solvent!) in order to avoid damage caused by sweat. We recommend you to give your treadmill a thorough cleaning every 150 operating hours and to check all the components.     ASSEMBLY Package contents The package contains the parts represented in the illustration, including a power cable with mains plug. If one of the illustrated parts is missing or damaged, please contact your contract partner.

    Assembly instructions Before assembly, take an exact look at the individual illustrated assembly steps and execute the assembly following the specified order. Step 1 1. Assemble the front stabilizer (2) and the rear stabilizer (19) on the main frame (1), using four allen bolts, four curved washers (6), four spring washers (7) and four domed nuts (8).
  • Page 13 Step 2 1. We recommend the assistance of a second person for this step. 2. First lift the upper protective cover (49) of the handle bar post (10) - fig. a. Then connect the upper console cable (29) with the lower computer cable (30) - fig. b. Now place the handle bar post (10) on the main frame (1).

Lift the upper protective cover (49) of the handlebar post (10) and fix the assembly, using the re- maining six curved washers (6), six spring washers (7) and six allen bolts (9) - fig.
  • Page 16 Step 5 1. Guide the handpulse cables (13) of the fixed handlebar (72) through the small hole on the side of the handlebar post (10) and then through the opening. - see detail drawing. 2. Assemble the fixed handlebar (72) to the handlebar post (10), using two curved washers (6), two spring washers (7) and two allen bolts (9).
  • Page 17 Step 6 1. Connect the handpulse cables (13) with the corresponding cables of the console (64). Plug the upper console cable (29) into the console (64). Now put any excess cable into the opening of the handlebar post (10) before you place the console (64) on top. Be careful not to pinch the cables. Now assemble the console (64) on the handlebar post (10), using four cross bolts (90).

    How to turn on the elliptical cross trainer and first settings As soon as you connect the power cable to the power supply, the computer will turn on and the LCD display will show all the segments for 2 seconds. Use the rotary knob (UP/DOWN) to choose a user (U1 - U4) and confirm your choice with the MODE button.

    General notes 1. When the pedals are not used for 4 minutes, the computer will go intro sleep mode. All settings and training data will be saved until you return to your training. 2. In case the computer functions abnormally, disconnect the elliptical crosstrainer from its power supply and reconnect it again.

    Heart rate measuring Pulse measurement through hand sensors The hand sensors integrated in the handles allow you to determine your heart rate. You can measure your heart rate by lightly grasping the sensors with both hands at the same time. Blood pressure changes occur due to the heartbeat.
  • Page 27 Anaerobic (maximum) load training: The main goal of maximum load training is to improve recovery after short, intense loads in order to be able to quickly return to the aerobic zone. In order to achieve this training goal, a high intensity (approximately 90% of the maximum heart rate) with short, intense load is required, which is followed by a recovery phase in order to prevent muscle fatigue.

  • Page 29 Warranty service Within the warranty period, equipment which develops faults as a result of material or manufac- turing defects, will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Ownership of equipment or parts of equipment which have been replaced is transferred to us. The warranty period is not extended nor does a new warranty period begin following repair or replacement under the warranty.

    DISPOSAL At the end of its operational life, this equipment cannot be disposed of in normal household waste. Instead, it must be disposed of via an electricals recycling centre. Further information can be obtained from your local authority‘s recycling service. The materials can be recycled as per their symbols.
