Parameters
independent: Specifies the independent label distribution control mode. In this mode, an LSR can
advertise label bindings to its connected LSRs at anytime.
ordered: Specifies the ordered label distribution control mode. In this mode, an LSR advertises to its
upstream a label binding for a FEC only when it receives a label binding for the FEC from its downstream
or when it is the egress of the FEC.
Usage guidelines
You must use the reset mpls ldp command to reset LDP sessions so that this command takes effect for those
sessions.
Examples
# Set the label distribution control mode to independent for the public network LDP instance.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] mpls ldp
[Sysname-mpls-ldp] label-distribution independent
# Set the label distribution control mode to independent for LDP instance vpn1.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] mpls ldp vpn-instance vpn1
[Sysname-mpls-ldp-vpn-instance-vpn1] label-distribution independent

loop-detect

Use loop-detect to enable loop detection.
Use undo loop-detect to disable loop detection.
Syntax
loop-detect
undo loop-detect
Default
Loop detection is disabled.

Usage guidelines
Enable loop detection before enabling LDP on any interface.
Examples
# Enable loop detection for the public network LDP instance.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] mpls ldp
[Sysname-mpls-ldp] loop-detect
# Enable loop detection for LDP instance vpn1.
<Sysname> system-view
