Environmental Conditions - Otto Bock 2R2 Instructions For Use Manual

1.1 Construction and Function
The 2R2, 2R3, 2R37, 2R38 Tube Adapters and the 4R21, 4R21=1, 4R52
and 4R52=1 Tube Clamp Adapters are used as components for modular
lower limb prostheses. The adapter combinations allow for controlled angle
and length adaptation in the sagittal and frontal plane as well as adjustment
of inward and outward rotation.

2 Application
2.1 Intended Use
The product is intended solely for lower limb prosthetic fittings.
2.2 Area of Application
Area of application according to the MOBIS® mobility system:
2R2, 2R37, 4R21 and 4R52
Approved for a body weight of up to 100 kg (220 lbs).

Approved for a body weight of up to 136 kg (300 lbs).

The 4R21=1 and 4R52=1 Tube Clamp Adapters may only be used for TF
prostheses and may only be positioned directly under the prosthetic knee
joint or the prosthetic socket.

2.3 Environmental Conditions

Temperature range for use: -10 °C to +60 °C (14 °F to 140 °F)
Allowable relative humidity 0 % to 90 %, non-condensing
Unallowable environmental conditions
Mechanical vibrations or impacts
Perspiration, urine, fresh water, salt water, acids
Dust, sand, highly hygroscopic particles (e. g. talcum)
