Using a Control Supply Module
If you are using a Control Supply Module, apply the 24 V supply directly via the 24 V busbars.
The electronic current limiting function integrated in the Control Supply Module protects the
busbar system when a fault occurs. You can connect additional loads via the 24 V terminal
adapter.
Note
Cables with a cross-section of 2.5 mm
If you use cables with a cross-section of 2.5 mm
V side for the following cable types:
● Cables of the XLPE type
● Cables of the EPR type
● Cable with a similar quality and with a thermal stability of up to 90 °C
Figure 8-1
When selecting the miniature circuit breakers, you must take into account the following
standards:
EN 61800-5-1, EN 60204-1, IEC 60364-5-52, IEC 60287-1 to -3, EN 60228 and UL 508C.
Requirements for cables:
● Maximum ambient temperature: 55 °C
● Maximum conductor temperature limit: 70 °C for operation with rated load current
● Maximum cable lengths:
– 30 m for supply cables
– 30 m for signal cables
