Preparing Electrical System

Manual air-conditioning
K1 relay will be mounted later after installa-
tion in vehicle. Insert red (rt) wire
K1/87a relay socket and black (sw) wire
the K1/30 relay socket.
Automatic air-conditioning
F4 25A and K1 relay inserted. Insert red (rt)

wire in the K1/87a relay socket and black

(sw) wire in the K1/30 relay socket. Insert
green/white (gn/ws) wire
et and connect to K1/86. Brown (br) wire
into IPCU/85 socket, red (rt) wire
IPCU/E socket and black (sw) wire
IPCU/A socket. Pull red (rt) wire

(sw) wire into protective sleeving.
Connect wires to IPCU socket.
IPCU view on contact side.
The IPCU is pre-programmed with the follow-
ing adjustment values. These adjustment val-
ues are to be checked during function control
of the vehicle and adapted if necessary.
Duty cycle: 100%
Frequency: 1000 Hz
Voltage: 3.6V
Function: High-side
