You only need to manually initialize a detector when you change a detector during
Walk Test or Live Test. If, however, you replace a detector with a different type of
detector, you must immediately program the new detector according to the instructions
in"How to Replace a Detector" on page 93. To manually initialize a detector, follow
these steps:
