Grasping the ribbon cassette as shown, gently pull it away from the printing
mechanism and work it free. Take care to slide the right side of the ribbon
cassette away from the mechanism and then to the left to clear the slot.
Use the procedure under "Installing the ribbon cassette" on page 4 to install
a new cassette.

Connecting to a power outlet and turning power on and off

Connect a three-prong grounded power cord to the power cord connector of
the optional AC adaptor.
Plug the optional AC adaptor into the printer's AC adaptor cable connector.
Note:
The power cord and AC adaptor are not included with the printer. If these
accessories are needed, consult your sales representative.
Plug the other end of the power cord to a standard household wall outlet.
