Carry Signal

1.
Carry signal occurs
a)
When maximum value of the count range that is 2,147,483,647 is reached
during Linear Count.
b)
When user-defined maximum value of Ring Count is changed to the minimum
value during Ring Count.
4. Count status when Carry signal occurs
a)
Counting stops if Carry occurs during Linear Count.
b)
Counting does not stop even if Carry occurs during Ring Count.
5. Carry reset: The Carry generated can be cancelled by switching Carry/Borrow Reset
Signal ON.
Borrow Signal
1.
Borrow signal occurs
a)
When minimum value of the count range i.e. -2,147,483,648 is reached during
Linear Count.
b)
When user-defined minimum value of Ring Count is changed to the maximum
value during Ring Count.
6. Count status when Borrow signal occurs
a)
Counting stops if Borrow occurs during Linear Count.
b)
Counting does not stop even if Borrow occurs during Ring Count.
7. Borrow reset: The Borrow generated can be cancelled by switching Carry/Borrow
Reset Signal ON.
Auxiliary Mode
1.
High Speed counter module provides six auxiliary modes, with basic count function
and compared output function.
8. To use the auxiliary modes, Auxiliary Mode Enabled Signal must be ON.
