Vehicles with belt airbags:
When securing a child in a child restraint system
on an outer rear seat, it is essential to observe
the following instructions:
Only use a child restraint system approved
R
by Mercedes-Benz.
Weight category 0, 0+ or 1: the child
-
restraint system must be installed on the
period of time, there is a risk of serious or
even fatal injury!
Never leave anyone – particularly chil‐
#
dren – unattended in the vehicle.
ISOFIX or i-Size child seat securing sys‐
tem.
Weight category II/III: only use the
-
approved child seats KIDFIX or KIDFIX XP.
Secure a rearward-facing child restraint sys‐
R
tem with the ISOFIX or the i-Size child seat
securing system.
Occupant safety
Never leave animals in the vehicle unat‐

tended.
Secure a forward-facing child restraint sys‐

tem with the ISOFIX or the i-Size child seat
securing system and, if present, the Top
Tether anchorage.
Observe the notes in "Belt airbag in rear seat

belt" (
page 36).
