Register the vehicle using the vehicle identifi‐

cation number (VIN).
Have the vehicle linked to the Mercedes me

user account at a Mercedes-Benz service
centre. The vehicle registration documents
and a form of identification are required for
this.
Accept the general and specific terms of use.

Extending a subscription
Call up the Mercedes me user account.
#
Switch to the Mercedes me connect online
#
store via the linked vehicle.
Extend the Live Traffic Information service.
#
Select the renewal period.
#
Add the product to the shopping basket.
#
Accept the general and specific terms of use.
#
Live Traffic Information remains activated for
the selected extension period. Activation
begins on the date of extension.
Displaying the traffic map
Requirements:
For Live Traffic Information: the vehicle is

equipped with a communication module fea‐
turing an activated, integrated SIM card.
When the vehicle is started, the communica‐
R
tion module automatically establishes an
Internet connection. Traffic information is
made available shortly afterwards.

on the route, a warning message is dis‐
