R & R PARK BRAKE CABLES CONTINUED
8. See Fig. 4. Place a round file (or equivalent),
inside brake drum, under end of park brake
cable and release park brake cable from u-
shaped lever.
9. See Fig. 5. Compress fingers of cable insert
with needle-nose pliers (or equivalent) to allow
cable insert to slide out of backing plate and
remove cable from drum.
