Reject Noisy Eye Velocity

If you would like to have the software automatically reject artifact and noisy eye movements you can tick
the box on for Reject Noisy Eye Velocity.

Auto-Stop

The software can be set to auto-stop (end data collection) after a pre-defined number (7 or 15) of valid
impulses to each side, or it can be set to stop only after the Stop button is hit by the operator (Never).

Peak Head Velocity Limits

The peak velocity limits are the parameters that specify the minimum and maximum acceptable head
velocities in the training guide (section 4.4.2). For the lateral head impulses, only one set of values are
needed because the head moves only in the horizontal/lateral (yaw) plane. For LARP and RALP, the
head moves in a combination of vertical (pitch) and roll planes. Only the vertical component is used for
calculating the VOR gain. The minimum and maximum acceptable head velocities for RALP and LARP
can be set either for the total head movements in both planes or just for the vertical plane. Changing the
value in one column changes the value in the other column accordingly.
The values are set using a table for upper and lower limits. The values can be changed by using the up
and down arrows to increase or decrease the values. For the vertical impulses you will see the total eye
movements (including torsion) and then next to those values you will see the component specific to
vertical eye movements only.
