Frost protection
The electric booster heater starts up when the water
temperature in the cylinder falls to 5 °C and switches off again
when the temperature reaches 8 °C.

8.5 "Mode" submenu - Heating mode

3 different types of heating mode can be selected in the "Mode"
submenu.

• Electrical heating mode

• "Heat pump" operating mode
• "Combi" operating mode

8.5.1 Electrical heating mode
In this operating mode, the electric booster heater is the only
heat appliance used.

The water temperature can be set to between 30 °C and 70 °C.

8.5.2 "Heat pump" operating mode

Selecting this operating mode means that the heat pump is the
only heat appliance used.

In this operating mode, two heat appliances are used
depending on the situation: the heat pump or the electric
booster heater.

Water heating is only guaranteed when the
inlet air temperature is between -10 °C and
35 °C.
At very low temperatures, the frost
protection function ( page 20) is
activated.
If the water temperature in the cylinder is
below 60 °C and the inlet air temperature is
between -10 °C and 35 °C, the heat pump is
the only heat appliance used. Otherwise, the
electric booster heater is switched on.
