FOURTH RAKE WHEEL
Under normal conditions the three rake wheels will turn up to a 4 1 / ' swath or windrow. If you feel the need to

increase raking width, a fourth rake wheel may be added to the rake beam. This extra wheel will allow you to turn
up to a six foot swath or windrow. The mounting bracket for the fourth wheel is bolted on to the end of the main
rake beam. This extra wheel folds back against the main rake beam to allow rake beam to fold for transport. To
fold for transport, raise rake wheels. Remove transport lock hair pin (A) from end of lift pipe and place in the sec-
ond hole (B) from end of pipe. Fold rake wheel and mounting beam back against main rake beam. Beam from
fourth wheel will rest on top of gauge wheel mounting bracket. (See pages 30-31)
