10 Power supply

MULTICAL® 803 is supplied via the connection terminals to the left in the calculator base. The internal power supply
is 3.6 VDC and can be carried out as mains supply with battery backup via a number of different supply modules from
Kamstrup A/S. See the below extract from the type number overview in paragraph 3.1.

All supply types and modules have been evaluated in connection with the extensive type tests to which MULTICAL®
803 has been subjected, and it is not permissible to use other supply modules than the ones mentioned above. The
supply modules are covered by the CE-marking and the factory guarantee of the calculator.
On the display, you can see which module slots are supplied in MULTICAL® 803. When the display of MULTICAL® 803
shows the main display reading, the reading of the supplied module slots is shown by pressing the left arrow key on
the calculator front four times, see example below.
Supply of the module slots M1, M2, M3 and M4.
Note that if the digits are, for example, 1200.X, it
means that there is no supply of the module
slots M3 and M4. Read more about supply
