Device setup
Before you begin
Ensure the following:
• The device startup process is complete and you are logged on to the device.
• The handset cradle is connected to your Avaya Vantage
• The handset battery is charged by placing the handset in the cradle.
• The wireless handset is turned off.
Procedure
1. Lift the wireless handset from the cradle, and press and hold the top Power button for at
least 10 seconds to enter the pairing mode.
To indicate that the handset is in the pairing mode, the handset LED starts flashing.
2. On the Home screen, tap Applications.
3. Tap Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth.
4. Turn Bluetooth on.
5. In the list of available devices, tap the entry that matches the ID on the handset label.
When pairing is successful, Avaya Vantage
paired devices as connected.
