This Installation Guide provides information about the Lenovo RackSwitch Lenovo
ThinkSystem NE10032 RackSwitch (referred to as NE10032 throughout this
document).
The NE10032 uses a wire-speed, non-blocking switching fabric that provides
simultaneous wire-speed transport of multiple packets at low latency on all ports.
The NE10032 contains the following ethernet ports:
Thirty-two 100 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) Quad Small Form Pluggable 28 (QSFP28)
ports, which can also be used as four 10 GbE or 25 GbE SFP28 ports, or as two 50
GbE SFP28 ports
The NE10032 is 1U in height and can be mounted horizontally or vertically,
depending on your application. Mounting options are available for a variety of rack
systems.
For superior reliability, the NE10032 uses redundant, hot-swap power supply
modules and hot-swap fan modules. Module options are available for either
front-to-rear airflow, or rear-to-front airflow.
You can manage the switch through the local console port, or through a remote
network connection, or SNMP-based network management software.
Other features supported on your switch depend on the specific firmware installed.
For more information, see the Application Guide and Command Reference for your
specific switch and its installed firmware.
