ThinkSystem Analog 1x8 KVM Switch
A ThinkSystem Analog 1x8 KVM Switch is a KVM (keyboard/video/mouse)
switch that enables you to control multiple servers from a single set of
keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
There is only one model, and its model name is SM27A17643.
With the SM27A17643 switch, a user can access a maximum of 8
connected servers.

Just connect the keyboard, mouse, monitor and all servers to a
SM27A17643 switch, and you will be able to switch among servers
connected to that SM27A17643 switch.
If cascading SM27A17643 switches to form a two-tier system, the
number of accessible servers can be expanded up to 64 servers. See
Two-Tier System
(on page 28).
The SM27A17643 switch features the use of ThinkSystem USB
conversion cables (Category 5e/6 UTP) for connecting servers.
One SM27A17643 KVM system comprises the following:

SC17A30048)
Note: For documentation purpose, ThinkSystem USB conversion
cables for Analog KVM are called "SC17A30048" throughout this
guide.
A user can control multiple servers per unit.
