Connecting a flue gas line

INFORMATION
Before commencing work, the specialist company carrying
out the work must consult the local authority responsible
for building law issues relating to the installation of chim-
ney systems and record this on a form.
Requirements
▪ The flue gas system fulfils the requirements described
in Chap.
4.5.1.
▪ The flue gas system fulfils any other required national or regional
safety requirements.
▪ The GCU compact is installed correctly.
Connection
INFORMATION
We recommend using the associated LAS construction
sets (see
Fig.
4-20). They satisfy all requirements and are
also fitted with special acid-proof seals.
The associated assembly instructions must be observed
for installing the flue gas and supply air holding system
components or their means of attachment.

stallation room

INFORMATION
In some cases, the resonance in the flue gas system can
amplify the noise at the mouth of the flue gas duct. The
noise level can be effectively reduced by using a silencer
(DN 80: E8 MSD or DN 110: E11 MSD).
