4 Activate the ventilation function (see accompanying controller
manual).
– By activating the ventilation function, the RoCon BF control-
ler starts a permanently defined sequence program with
start/stop operation of the integrated heating circulation
pump and various settings of the 3-way switch valves integ-
rated in the GCU compact.
– Any air present can escape via the automatic vent valve dur-
ing the ventilation function and the hydraulic circuit connec-
ted to the GCU compact is evacuated.
INFORMATION
The activation of this function does not replace correct
venting of the heating circuit.
The heating circuit must be completely full before activat-
ing this function.
5 Check the water pressure and replenish with water if necessary
(see Chap. 9.2.5).
6 Repeat the ventilation, checking and replenishing process until:
– It is completely vented.
– There is sufficient water pressure.
