Feed for instruction "RESET*"
The procedure is described below using a specific "WRITE-CONFIG" instruction. The
procedure for using the Ident profile with a "WRITE-CONFIG" command is identical.
Proceed as follows to create the "Reset_*" instruction:
1. Drag the instruction from the "Controller Organizer" into the project.
2. Create a instance variable.
3. Select the variable ("RfidDevice01_ConfigData.CH01" in out example) for the
"HW_CONNECT" parameter.
4. Create a global variable for "MSG_READ".
5. Configure the variable of the parameter "MSG_READ" ("...") as follows:
In the "Configuration" tab:
– Message Type = CIP generic
– Service Type = Custom
– Service Code = 40
– Class = 80
– Instance = 1
– Source Element = RfidDevice01_ConfigData.CH01.Static.buf
– Destination Element = RfidDevice01_ConfigData.CH01.Static.buf
6. Select the relevant Ident device for which you want to assign parameters in the
"Communication" tab in the text box "Path".
7. When using the RF68xR reader:
Select the "Connected" and "Large Connection" check boxes, if applicable.

(Page 20)".
8. Create a global variable for "MSG_WRITE".
9. Assign parameters for the variable as follows:
In the "Configuration" tab:
– Message Type = CIP generic
– Service Type = Custom
– Service Code = 41
– Class = 80
– Instance = 1
– Source Element = RfidDevice01_ConfigData.Static.buf
10.Select the relevant Ident device for which you want to assign parameters in the
"Communication" tab in the text box "Path".
