Application Manual
Energy center – primary control
The temperature is acquired in every room and controlled via the supply air, the radiator and the floor heating sys-
tem. The heat/cooling energy requests from all rooms are forwarded to the heating/refrigeration and ventilation
controllers. The ventilation controller controls the supply air temperature and the amount of air demanded. The
heating plant is controlled depending on the heat request from the ventilation controller and room thermostats plus
the outside temperature. The refrigeration plant is controlled depending on the cooling energy request from the
ventilation controller and room thermostats.
Remote control
Integration of a webserver facilitates remote control and monitoring on a PC or smartphone via webbrowser.

Description of functions
description
Demand-dependent supply air temperature con-
trol
The primary ventilation controller (RMU) controls the
supply air temperature and the volumetric air flow
depending on the request for heat/cooling energy
from the room thermostat (RDG) and the request for
volumetric air flow from the VAV controller (GDB).
The pressure setpoints of the ventilation system are
shifted depending on the room's demand for supply
air.
Demand-compensated production of heat/
cooling energy
Heat (RMH) or cooling energy (RMU) is supplied only
when requested by the primary ventilation controller
(RMU) or the room thermostats (RDG, RDF) or the
room controller (RXB) (demand-compensated con-
trol).
Weather-compensated heating control
The weather station (AP 257/22 or AP 257/32) sends
the outside temperature signal to the heating control-
ler (RMH). Its flow temperature setpoint is shifted
depending on the outside temperature to adjust the
amount of heat to be provided.
Nr. 11
Synco™
& Gamma
refrigeration machine can be switched on only if water
passes through the evaporator and the condenser
Remote control and monitoring
Using a webbrowser, the following parameters can be
monitored via webserver (OZW):
·
Current temperatures
·
Current setpoints
·
Current operating modes
·
Heating plant parameters (temperatures, er-
rors, alarms)
If required, the following parameters can be changed:
·
The operating modes
·
The temperature setpoints
·
The time program
Display of energy efficiency
The OZW772 webserver is able to display the HVAC
system's energy efficiency, which reminds the user if
– from the point of view of energy efficiency – settings
beyond the permitted limits were made. If nonefficient
operating states occur, the user is notified via e-mail
or smartphone app. The limit values can be set by the
user.
